Besides scrolling through memes, I've come up with a plan to make our days a little better, especially on the heavier ones. I've read that having something that motivates you during the day can really affect how you approach it. For some people, it means going to their favorite workout class, spending time with their kids, going to pottery or painting, doing yoga… whatever it is, the main factor is doing something you truly enjoy. In my case, the days that I struggle the most are Mondays and Tuesdays. On Monday morning, before starting work, I attend a morning yoga class right next to my house. It settles my anxiety and lets me connect with my body. Love it! And on Tuesday, we have date night with my boyfriend. Well… not really night, since we get up early every day, but we do go to grab some food and something to drink. It not only helps us connect, but it gets me excited every time a Tuesday comes around. I think getting your brain excited about a certain event is healthy and really good for the mind! And it helps us avoid getting the 4th cup of coffee by 12 pm.

But while you figure out your struggle days and what hobbies you can start, scrolling through funny memes is always nice. They aren't necessarily the best way to handle the blues, but hey… if it makes me giggle and have a good time, then so be it! Life isn't easy sometimes, so giving me the break that I need to keep pushing is fundamental. So, let's not back down; we've got this and can totally manage some bad days.
